I have a 110cc Utility ATV for my son. The quad will fire sometimes but if you don't get it to fire within two or three tries it doesnt want to turn over like the battery is being drained. I bought a new battery and still does same thing? Could this be a short in a wire???? Anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

it could be couple of things, bad starter solenoid, you can test this pretty easy just use a heavy gage wire or screw driver and connect the two terimals. if it starts try again a couple of more times, this would be the problem, next if that isn't the problem i'd replace the starter. but the very first thing is to check all wiring connectors for a loose wire
