Ok guys, check this out! Eli Madero (associate editor), Mike Newsom (associate editor) and myself will be taking each other on in the Sportsman Class at the South Carolina GNCC on April 12. Check out www.gnccracing.com for details about the track. Here are the quads that we will be on:
Thad Josey: Race Prepped YFZ450 Eli Madero: KTM 450 (Lucky Bastard) Mike Newsom: Polaris Outlaw 450s (don't feel bad for him, he sux anyway)
So the big question is, who's going to win? What do you guys think? Yami vs. KTM vs. Polaris? If you can wade through our Smack Talk, please let us know who you think will win and who you'll route for.
Thanks,
Thad Josey ATVREditor

I think the big question shouldn't be who wins but what the losers have to do (besides ride home with the winner) after the race...

Speaking of Eli, his only saving grace is that he's on the KTM. But I'm sure that won't help him out! I hope he doesn't hit a tree!

I know right, if he does we should help him out when we come around on the next lap. His KTM should be easy to spot.

ha ha,
well it all depends, we know for sure the Polaris will most likely crap out at the gate, so it'll be a race between the ktm and the yami.
ktm is notorious for serious weight reductions, and torque.
but the yfz is no slouch either once you get it tuned in right.
this may seriously come down to the rider.
come on Thad you can win, I've heard that Ktm's work alot better if you juice em up the night before with an extra dose of 2cycle oil.

Don't write off my bone stock Outlaw just yet. I did win a local series championship on an 06 Outlaw and plan to follow up with a win on April 12th.

ha ha, but then you can't be blamed for trying to help your buddies win can ya?
and we all know how well 4 cycle engines work with 2 cycle oil in the tank....
the outlaw 450s that's not a polaris/ktm engine is it?
of course you know iam going to be thoroughly dissappointed if you lose right??!
(singing for Eli.. George, george, george of the jungle watch out for that treeeeee!)
