Hi
What weight of oil and what type of tranny fluid can I put in my 335 Sportsman. I live about 70 miles from my polaris dealer - so getting polaris stuff is a bit difficult. So if I can pick up this stuff at the local walmart this would be great.
Also my 335 sportsman goes 40 miles per hour in hi gear shoudn't it go any faster??

not with that polaris pvt transmission.

it's severely limiting, and i know it's frustrating because other machines of the same or even lesser cc go alot faster.

my son has a 1998 yamaha blaster 200cc that recently outran a polaris 500 sportsman three times in a row on apshalt.

seriously though, you do need to run the polaris synthetic oil.

i have seen alot of polaris transmissions at my shop that people have blown up using other oils.
they overheat with other oils.
