My old Yamaha suddenly quit running.  It is turning over fine, but I'm getting no spark.  I checked the main fuse and it is fine.  What else can I look for?

you can check the stator for rust or dirt, if so then clean it well.

use sandpaper to remove any rust, but just enough to remove the surface rust.

if no dirt or rust, check the coil to see if it is getting fire to it.
there should either be one or two wires going into the back of the coil one will go to the frame as a ground and the other will be a power wire. check it for power.

check all of the wire connections make sure they are clean and connected well.
Keep it RUBBER SIDE DOWN!!
