Hello i am new to this forum and the 400 ex.I rode a warrior with big bore kit for years and wanted a 400 ex for a while now well i just purchased a 2002 ex recently and really like it.I have a 90 acre farm with everything from flat tracks to jumps to straight up and down hill climbs i also live an hour from the hatfeild mccoy trails of west va and plan on another trip there soon.My uestion is i can ride my honda for 20 to 30 minutes and pull wheelies in 2nd and 3rd fairly easy but after that the clutch begins to slip not completley it will still stand up in 1st but if you nail it in 2nd-5th it will slip bad even on flat running but at low rpms it doesent slip to bad but you cant shift to 2nd and pull a wheelie.I changed the oil and went with the reccomended oil in the service manual.could this be the clutch or a problem with the oil system.I know its circulating but maybe not fast enough or will a clutch set fix it?please any help will be greatly appreciated..
if you dont wreck it you aint riding it!!
