Ive been riding my bruin a lot lately, and I was driving it then out of the blue it started running like garbage!  I put about 6 miles on it that day, and it ran fine.   it idels fine starts fine,  but when you give it gas it dogs and wants to die.

could it be a bad spark plug?
the sendec sais oil change could this be the problem? im not sure how the electricial system on the machine works.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

could be when was the last time you checked the oil??
by all means do that oil change, it'll last longer if you do.

also could be as simple as getting water in your gas and then in the carburetor.
or even in through the air box then into the carburetor.
Keep it RUBBER SIDE DOWN!!

My friends is doing the same thing! It ran fine forever and then all of a sudden it just started running like crap at anything over half throttle. It runs fine at idle all the way up to about half throttle. We took the carb off and cleaned it out, put drygas in the gastank and still does the same thing. I just don't get it. Does anybody have any idea what might be wrong here?!   He can't afford to take it to the shop or a dealer, and still owes $2,000 on it. So any help would be really appreciated. Thank you.

!!!ADDITION!!!!
We changed the oil in it about a month ago. Fresh Yamalube 10w40, new Yamaha filter. Oil is still full and clean.
If this helps....
