Hey, has anybody had problems with the racks on a Polaris (mine's a '97 Xplorer) de-laminating? Not sure if that's the term... but the racks have now got tiny fibers sticking out everywhere, so that if you put your hand on the rack, it's like you come away with fiberglass "slivers" -- you know, like when you install fiberglass insulation and you wind up scratching all night? Anyhow, is there a way to re-coat the racks or something? Hope someone's got an idea out there...

you could coat them with some clear spray laquer. that would stop the fraying and allow it to last longer.
