New today to the forum. I just bought an 05. When I went to test ride it the unit shifted fine in all gears but couldn't get it in reverse. The previous owner had the reverse cable replaced in 12-06 from the dealer. He put it away and last rode in 7-07. When I got it home I tried adjusting the cable then I unhooked the cable from the lower shift arm thinking I could shift it manually but with no luck. Feel like it wants to go in. No reverse light either. Anyone have this problem. Any ideas? Any links or tips to find a pdf manual online? Thanks  

well i had that problem but i have a '04 honda rancher with the hondamatic where it was push putton shifting... idk what kind of shifting you have but if you have to push down a button an pull back the brake lever try and adjust the brakes... that solved my problem
