I have already asked this in another forum, so sorry for the duplicate. I just want to make sure my son gets an ATV that's right for him -- he's 16. He found a used Rhino that's already had the safety modifications Yamaha offered last year. I really don't know that much about ATVs, but my research has me worried this isn't a good choice for him. Take this site, for instance http://yamaha-rhino-atv-rollover.com/.
I am thinking that even with the doors and handholds, this ATV isn't a good choice for someone without a lot of ATV experience. Does anyone know if the modifications on the Rhino have made it safer? And is there another model I should be steering my son to?

ok iam sorry but with the recent few posts against the rhino, all of them complete with a lawyers website, iam wondering.... are these posts sincere or just a means for money hungry attorneys to hopefully find people who got a splinter while riding a rhino, to milk it for every dime they can get??
honestly a rhino isn't for a 16 year old with no experience. does the question need answering?

I am NOT a lawyer, and I do not have a website. But I do have a DEAD 10 year old daughter who was a passenger in a Rhino. I have located 12 people 10 were passengers who were killed on a Rhino. As far as I could research NONE of there people were doing crazy stuff (jumping, climbing straight up mountains etc).
IF they are at fault or not, who knows. But I know if the owner of the Rhino that killed my little girl had know, he would not have let her on.
So yea, I think the question needs answering.
