i recently purchased a tao tao 250. the owners manual is not very informative & i cannot get it to turn over. The battery is fully charged and all components seem to be connected correctly. is there something i may be overlooking?

I'm currently deployed to Iraq and I bought one in November. When I went home on leave, I put it together and everything. It would turn over but would not start! It took the day before I left home before I had the chance to ride it. I had to call where i order it from and they told me about the kill switch that we looked all over for. The bad thing is it doesn't even come with an owners manual. Above your left thumb there's a black button push it in and move it left or right then crank it. Sgt

is there another place that this switch could be located? above the left thumb there is a red start/stop switch and below that there is a black lever that can be pushed left & right (throttle?). it's like it won't even bump. thanks for your reply. any help is much appreciated.
