I am looking for a small machine able to haul a trailer with wood on a 10 acre lot. Is the Honda Recon 250 big enough for the job? Speed not an issue. Thanks for the advice.

i think a 250 would do the job, although it may be a bit too small.

i used to pull a trailer with hay and kids on it with my honda fourtrax 300cc it did pretty well, and was a real work horse.

I think the 250 would pull the trailer but i think it would be a bit of a strain at times for it.

i would suggest a 300cc or 350cc.

i agree with wolf. recons don't have all that much power and the hitch isn't all that strong either
