2004 700 sportsman no 4x4 in reverse

when u push over ride 4x4 lights up on digital display but front wheels do not spin works fine in forward gears.

I have the same problem on my 2002 500 ho. What did you do to resolve this issue?

check the battery, but some aren't designed to 4x4 in reverse. on some the override button overrides 4x4 for reverse.

I put a new fully charged battery in. Now it works fine. I guess a bad battery will efect the reverse override.

Have to hit the override on my 91 350L to get the 4x4 to work in REV
