While riding, my 400 can-am hit a tree with the front tire at less than 10 mph.  Now the frame is cracked and bent and I am told the machine is totaled.  OUCH.  The frame and parts will run about 1200.  Anyone have thoughts on a fair mechanic (me) swapping all the parts to a new frame?  AND getting it done before spring???

if you are close to the chattanoga tennessee area bring it by and i'll help you swap everything.  no charge man
we can get it done in an hour or so.

what part of the frame cracked?
steel and aluminum can be welded, but you need a seriously good welder to get it back to the strength it was factory.
as well if you weld it or buy a new frame there are points on each frame that could use some tastefully done reinforcement so that the frame holds up better.

look at the suggested reinforcement points on a blaster at trenga.
Keep it RUBBER SIDE DOWN!!
