hey guys i think i got a pretty cool idea for just a little 2 or 3 page article if it stinks just say it.do a small section in each magazine like back "in the day" i saw on here were somebody didn't know what a 250r was.plus there was some really cool quads back then the lt-250 or the famous "quadzillia" but its just a idea so not just the editors but everybody.it whouldn't take just a couple of issues.

Yeah,I saw an article about the 250r ,3-wheeler when they first came out,a couple of months ago in another mag.I had one in 1981,it was a rocket "back in the day" we always said that's what the "R" stood for.I think its a good idea.

Food for thought, although the subject has been pretty well worked over by our older competition (easy edit, pull something out of the archives and presto! a story).
However, a look back to see how far the 4-wheeled world has advanced or not in the last 20 years might be in store at a later date.

This reminds me of a story...I was in Chaparral talking with a guy who was looking at a quad for his son. He was saying how they've (quads) changed since the day when he was riding a three wheeler, (ATC) back in the Reagan and Miami Vice years. "I remember when it was a big deal when we could make it to the top of Comp hill (at Glamis) on a 110 or 185, he said." I can relate to his story, my first ride was a 185s. I was very proud to make it up Buttercup at The Little Sahara State Park in OK. After a rain the sand was easier to climb and I could just make it to the top. Buttercup is steeper than Comp, but not as long of a climb. Our Industry has come a long ways since the big balloon tires and pull start motors of the ATC. Makes you wonder where we'll be in another 10 years. Mark
