i'm more confused than a newborn baby in a topless bar! (i stole that) i have restarted riding dirt bikes after many years but my body is in an unhappy place. falls , knees, etc. not good.  so i sell the dirt bike with the intention of moving on to a sport atv.suzuki or honda 400.  well now my wife says that she thinks i will not be happy with one. so, has anyone out there been in my situation and which way did you go.  and did you ever regret going that way.  deep stuff but all opinions greatly thanked.

I have a 2001 honda 400ex i love it but the 05 and 06 models are even better because they have reverse. the suzuki z-400 is faster but there is a trade off because the honda is more reliable. my friend has an 03 z-400 and he has had little problems like swing arm bolts, brakes and bearings but it all ads up. he also had to put a clutch in it. i rebuilt mine but only for more power. mine is also 3 years older than my friends and I have only replaced back bearings chain and sprockets and a clutch cable that all happened just recent ly now that the bike is 6 years old. I beat the crap out of the bike too every weekend with my friends. with little to no mechanical problems for 5 years. get the honda!!

01 400ex sixpackrack, custom bumper and skid plate, moose handlebars, scott grips, assorted stickers, dg nerf bars. As for your wife if she like dirt bikes she will like quads even better because they are more "chick friendly." It will take you awhile to get good at riding to get real enjoyment out of your quad but you will be riding until you are a lot older than if you were riding dirt bikes.
