I have a Raptor 660 i love it to death. but that it sits so high.  i kinda wanna drop it down but i have no idea how. what should i do. i know i could get a longer swingarm and that might help.  if anyone knows anything it would be a huge help. thanks

Besides being a smart ass and telling you to trade it in for a Raptor 700, you'll need to invest in a new front end.

Wider and lower sitting a-arms along with the swingarm you mentioned are the means for becoming a low-lifer. Laeger, Roll Design and iShock are a few of the companies that you can check out.

If you widen out the front end then you won't be able to trail ride. if you ride dunes, or mx a wider front end would be good

It's all about moderation. You can widen the stance a bit to 700R standards and still be trail capable.

Yes you can widen the front and still trail ride. I was a little leary of the modified machines at our 24 Hour ( see the website) being a little wide, due to after-market A-arms, but after easing through, then SCREAMING through the trail gates, I realized that wider A-arms aren't ~that~ much wider, just enough to make a difference. O.K., they might be a little wide for extemely tight woods riding, but for average (width) trails, you WILL notice the benefit(s). Trust me, lower and wider is better. The stability gained will def' ramp up the MPH and decrease your lap time(s).

you can buy a lowering kit fairly inexpensively, this will push the a arms out a little giving you a wider stance.

i'd try the lowering kit first, then look into longer a-arms if you want it wider.
2-4 inches lower would really go along way.
