I a good 260 lbs... i know how to ride. i want the best bike for a big guy. Should i get the 660 raptor or the 450 Yamaha?

Does either of the two come with a stiffer rear suspension?

I AM 270 LBS AND RIDE A SUZUKI LTZ 400 QUAD NO SUSPENSION PROBLEMS AND PLENTY OF POWER AND HANDLES WELL EVEN WITH ABIG GUY ON IT.WILLIES IN 2ND AND 3RD. I HAVE RIDDEN MY FRIENDS YFZ 450 AND DID,NT FEEL COMFORTABLE ALSO IHAVE RIDDEN THE POLARIS 500 PREDATOR AND IT WAS PROBALY THE CLOSEST TO THE SUZUKI AS FAR AS COMFORT,AND SUSPENSION.

well if you know how to ride and your a big guy then your prolly gonna want a heavier quad cause you can handle it... so prolly the 660 raptor  

I AM 270LB I FOUND THAT THE 660 RAPTOR WAS GUTLESS WITH ME ON IT, CAN NOT PULL GOOD WHEELIES AT ALL.  THAT'S THE BIKE  I BOUGHT MY GIRL AND IT'S PERFECT FOR HER. KNOW THE RAPTOR 727 IS A DIFFERENT STORY BUT IS ALSO VERY SPENDY. I HAVE THE 450R AND AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT, IT RIDES NICE AND PERFORMANCE IS NOT AN ISSUE. MY BEST BUDDY HAS THE YFZ 450 AND IT WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE NOT THAT YOU SHOULD BE RIDDING WITH BOTH BUTT CHEACKS ON THE BIKE. IT ALSO GETS SMOKING HOT IN THE LEG AREA. SHORT AND LONG DISTENCE.

I think you should look into the ds 650 or the kfx 700 both of those rides have gobs of power and serious suspensions. I rode with a guy last year who was on a yfz 450 and he was a good 250 with no problems. People have to understand that the yfz is a moto cross machine and is low and very fast and torque filled. there is no machine out there that handles better than it but it is low. I am 6'2" and I race my yfz with no probs.  

what type of 450 are you talking about because there is the YFZ 450 of the Kodiak 450. but if you are geting the YFZ then I would say the raptor but if you are talking about the kodiak then I would say that. because if you have a plan on spending some money on after market stuff then get the YFZ but it is your choice.    

it depends on what type of riding you are going to do. if you are a fast pace hard rider any of the sport 400 and up are good for you I think you would be better off with a utility quad. All the fun in the world but not apt to kill you.
