I bought a used suzuki 250 quad racer and was told by the previous owner that it was a 1995 model but I've heard now from others that they stopped making them in 1992. Can anyone help me identify what year mine is? Can I find out by the vin number?  

I'm not sure, exactly, when the QR production ceased, but, my freind, it was before '95! There should be a sticker on the frame with the model # and year. If not, I'll do a little research and let you know when they quit making them. The vin would help a dealer tell you what year it is. Check the steering tube and rear down tubes on the frame. Also under the seat.

O.K., I'm back. The 500 Q-Racer-AKA Quadzilla died at the end of '90. Last year for a "new" 250 QR was '92 (model year). Dude might have bought a '92, or over-stock, brand new in '95, but it wasn't "a" 95.
