Thanks Larry!

Remind me, what ATVs does Progressive currently make shocks for?

We make 512 Series for most utility quads.  For quads with front strut suspension we make spring kits with adjustable preload.

And for a little hint of what's to come, we are working on new technology for sport/racing quads that works unbelievable!  Interested?  See our web site and look at our 5th Element mountain bike shocks.  Control Valve Technology that won US and world championships this year in the mountain bike scene.  And the same technology works in ATV and motorcycle suspension.  Coming soon.

ummm, yea i didnt know where else to put this, but i was wondering if i can get some advice, new to the website as you can see.

Ive been riding my 2007 can-am outlander for two years now, and other utilities before it and ive been wanting to switch to a quad.  I want something that will go, but not crazy fast since im used to something bigger and slower.  Ive been looking at the ds 450s, but im still unsure about what to get.  Id like something that isnt so fast that i cant keep the front on the ground, and wreck, but something that will do small to medium jumps and spin real good.  I just want some opinions.

well the honda 300ex is a good machine, also the yamaha raptor 250cc is a great machine,  they'll both stand up but are very controllable on the trails. and have plenty of spin and torque.

i personally ride a yamaha blaster with a 240cc big bore kit and a 3mm stroker crank, i love the blaster for it's unlimitied amount of torque and 6 speed gear box.

but i have ridden both the 300ex and the raptor 250 and could be equally as happy with them.

and it's alright we'll still answer old posts here.
Keep it RUBBER SIDE DOWN!!
