Have side x side 4x4. Going in back country coming across uphill trails that have been washed out down the middle and must straddle to proceed. If the width of trail becomes wider that tires will vehicles tire support weight? I'm new at this and don't want to get stuck or break something. At times front end has lifted into air. certanly the sidewalls of the tires are the softest part of the tire, and most prone to puncture. always if you can try to straddle the ruts.

on average you are ok, just don't put yourself in a spot where the atv is riding you instead of you riding it.

roll over and goin g over the side of a cliff is certainly not an option.  have a blast with it, but be safe remember it's no fun if your dead or in the hospital.  you don't get silver stars for scars or broken limbs.

when i ride i ride hard, but i always keep a good watch ahead of the trail as well as where my tires are.   safe is always the best way.  find places you can open it up, but be safe where you need to be.

always remember never cut across a field that is grown up.  you can't see pitfalls or washes until. you are on top of them.

i broke an ankle once cutting through a field with high grass.  hit a 5 foot deep wash and didn't have a clue it was there until it was too late.
the ground just dissappeared...

I've been riding since i was 9 and am now 36.

a tip on jumps.  keep it in a strong gear, and gas it when you front tires reach the begginning of a hill. that way your front tires will stay high and you'll land better.

but start with small jumps and work your way up.

if you get out toward chattanooga tennessee drop by and we'll hit some good trails.
