if you have a semiautomatic trans theres is a clutch adjustment, if it  automatic there is none. now the question is does the engine rev but doesn't move or does it just bog down? luvmysxs@yahoo.com

sent you an email...It is an auto and no it does not rev it just bogs down...I adjusted the idle and mixture screws and it helped slightly but still will not even turn the tires in sand. The engine is the lochin if that helps any. Thanks,Tony

It's Chinese.....thats your problem. Seriously though. you should look at a Honda or Yamaha, something Japanase. Nothing can match *** built quads. Someone might have already said this, but im saying it again. lol

Help please!

I've also got a chinese 110cc atv.  I've got spark and new battery, but it will not start.  I originally had no spark, then I stumbled upon a site where someone suggested disconnecting the black/white wire from the CDI.  If this worked, then there was a problem with the kill switch (according to the site).  So I did this, and I got spark.

Awhile ago, the lanyard housing broke off (don't ask!) so I just connected the wire going in and out of the lanyard switch.  Now I'm wondering if this is the problem.  Again, I've got spark now, and it will try to crank...I can hear the solenoid clicking, the wires going into the coil look to be connected fine.  I guess all this makes sense since I'm getting spark.

Did something I do with the kill switch prevent me from getting fuel down to the plug?

Also, I know next to nothing about engines, so if something I've said makes completely no sense, please call me out!

Any help anyone can offer is greatly appreciated.

Me again...just juiced the (new) battery back up to ~12.5V  and it started just fine.

So now I've got to figure out what's wrong with the kill switch so I can get that fixed.  I don't want my 7yr old to have to pull the sparkplug to turn it off!

The lanyard wires should *not* be connected together.  When connected the CDI is shut down and no spark is generated.  Normally the lanyard plug holds a spring loaded switch open (wires not connected).  When the lanyard pulls off the switch closes and shorts the two wires, killing the spark.

You can buy new lanyard switches on eBay for cheap.

i don't even know why the chinese put this crap on their atv's, there're more problms than they're worth, unplug the connectors and remove the lanyard switch, you don't need it and you'll be better off

hallo,
I'm repairing a loncin 110cc atv for a customer. I had to remove the timing chain and now i want to pull the chain back on but there are several mark's on the flywheel. I don't know wich is right and couldn't find it in the service manuel. When I align the marking of the camshaft sprocket with the marking on the block which marking on the flywheel is then alined with the carter?
The possibility's are (when i turn the flywheel clockwise)
-T (top dead center, i think)
-F (fire i think)
-and a few centimeter further there are 2 markings without a letter and are standing very close to each other?
I think it is the T what do you guys think?

I have a 110cc Pure Sports ATV and the starter gear is stripped out. The one on the crank. Does anyone know if this can be replaced? If so, where can I buy one?

Next question. How does the stator pulley come off? I took off the center nut and the 3 allen head bolts and it will not come off. I even tried a 3-jaw puller and it won't  budge.

the flywheel on a tappered fit, here's how to remove it, reinstall the center crankshaft nut, not all the way just about haft to three quarter way, this will protect the crankshaft threads, now take the three arm puller and put tension on the flywheel, now take a brass hammer and hit the flywheel various places around the flywheel,it should now pop off but if it doesn't just add a little more tension on the puller and tap the flywheel again with the brass hammmer,

I have learned a very good lesson. Save your money and by a Japanese ATV unless you like to work on one constantly and I mean constantly.  Junk! But if you sit and try to be positive about your purchase, The tires, shocks, and hubs/axle is worth the money you paid. I purchased a 110cc for christmas and have had nothing but problems and the foot peg area is made for a Chinese midget. As for the chain problem, I made a chain tensioner simular to the ones on bikes in the 80's and so far it has worked great. The motor does flex bad in the frame which contributes to the problem. I had to replace the clutch after 11 hours of riding. The racks fell off and they are made of some kind of tubing that makes EMT conduit look strong. My wife admitted we should have bought a Honda last night while I was unhooking a rope from my Rubicon which I now use exclusively to tow the Chinese piece of _ _ _ _ with daily!!!

I've had this Chinese 110cc quad for 3 years and never had a problem with it. My son has probably over a hundred hours on it. I only paid $500 for it brand new. I liked it so much I just bought my younger son the same model. I've done some maintenance but no major problems until now.

I can't get it off. I destroyed the threads on the crank and bent the pulley trying to get it off. The engine is now an anchor. I plan on disassembling it and using it as a parts quad for the new one I just got. I purchased a 250ex to replace it. I was trying to get one more season out of it but no luck. I certainly got my $500 out of this machine. I appreciate the information though.
