Great info
My TRAXTER XT will not even turn over with the pull start handle. I took out the starter and it works fine on the bench.The engine apears to be stuck and will not roll at all. I just ran the machine a week or two ago and it ran fine. Would the Sprague Bearing cause this isue? I ordered the manual you refered to. Thanks!

I just had mine fixed (sprag clutch, new gaskets, complete fluid change including coolant), for $860.00. BUT, my electric shifter worked once after being in the shop. In reading some other blogs, the maybe should have adjusted the clutch after. My mechanic is checking into it (he's not a Bombardier shop)
Any idea why my ATV would be stuck in 2nd, electric-shift wise?
2001 Traxter XT with electric shift, ~1000 miles of mostly plowing and towing.

Finally getting around to repairing Traxter XL starting problem; got the manual but I notice that there are two "sprag clutches"; 1 in the clutch system and 1 in the magneto. How do you know which is at fault. In the magneto sytem you don't have to remove the engine which would be nice. Thanks.
