I am having brake problems on the rear of my 03 Bombardier Traxter. Is there a gasket or an O ring on the rear caliper that can be replaced? I am having a leak from the rear caliper. Can anyone help? If there is a gasket or O ring where is it located?

with most caliper brakes there is a seal or oring where the piston is. either there will be a seal on the housing where the piston slides through to push the pads, or the is an oring inside the caliper that contacts with the surface of the piston.
and for the lines there should only be a copper washer or two and each bolt to seal it up.
iam not up on the bombardier, but for most caliper brakes systems this is where they are.

HI I had the same problem the caliper can,t be repaired. I contacted the manufacturer and was informed that it is not rebuildable because of liability issues. The only option is to purchase a new one from brp.I paid $275.00 Canadian.

wow i'd look for an aftermarket upgrade for the brakes rather than buy another nonrepairable factory brake caliper.
surely there is a better aftermarket replacement out there.
