I have a 2004, Polaris 400 Sportsman that started fine and ran about 1 minute then went dead. It has not started since. I took the spark Plug out and checked, it looks good. I put a little gas in the plug and tried to start and nothing. I checked fuel line and gas is going to carburetor. I took a volt meter and tried to test the spark plug wire and the meter shows only 1 to 2 volts when starter is engaged. Should it be more then this??? If so the spark plug wire looks like it has what looks to be a condensor on the other end. Is that what it is? Could that be bad and causing no fire to go to plug? Any help appreciated.
