I have a 2004.5 sportsman had no power in high. Dealer found a weak clutch spring in the driven clutch. Replaced it now runs fine. $30 part. cost with labor was $145.00

Hi check the lobe of the exhaust on the camshaft they tend to wear out. Good luck.
