I have a Polaris 500 sportsman. It starts easy when jumped off with cables but wont spin the starter without. I replaced the battery and cleaned the cables and cleaned cables to relay. No difference. Can you tell me what is wrong?

did you notice it clicking by any chance before you had this problem? I the same issue but before mine died I heard it clicking.
